-Update: Added Arcade Card detect and initialize code
ripped from Popful Mail. Located in the HuC & ASM section.



Animefx started a Cosmic Fantasy 4 Chapter 1 translation
project. I wrote a few routines for the project - single
byte ASCII support and a small compression scheme. I'm
working on the replacement font routine. It'll probably
end up being a 6x12 FWF routine. Check out the
magicengine
forums for more details and if want to get in contact with
animefx for helping with the project.

Other translation news, I received the second level script
of Spriggan Mark 2. Things are coming along and will need
some beta testers to test it on the real system in the
(hopefully) near future. I'm working on Auleria as a side
project - I need a translator is anyone is interested.

I written a couple SGX demos that show off transparency
effects that aren't doable on the PCE. You can download
them in the Demos section.

 I joined up with Filler on his Lady Sword translation project.
We figured out the font compression and wrote a font compressor
(8x16). Filler has already dumped the script and started the
translation. ^_^

I'm working on Spriggan this week: new compressed font 8x12
routine and improved text compression scheme. Hopefully I can
avoid changing the pointers altogether with the tweaked
compression routine.

Private beta of BubbleGum Crash translation have gone out.
If you haven't received a copy or want to help out in testing,

 Update for Makai Hakkenden Shada: Iriliane has a good chunk of
the script translated. If you have any experience with finish-
ing this game and would like to help out, please send me an
email.

 Updated BubbleGum Crash beta with a few bug fixes. For Beta
testers please check the webpage for the new beta.

 
Update: Fixed the link to the new beta rom - was pointing to
the old one.
12.23.06: -

 Mednafen 7.0 is out! Yay! Go get it. The debugger can now break
on vram addresses and has a tile/sprite viewer. PC-FX emulation
and debugger too. ^_^

 Oh yeah, I started an Arcade card lib for HuC. I'm an ASM guy,
but HuC needs some lovin. HuC source code needs some optimization
too.
12.27.06: -

 I've been working on some adding some new functions and support
HuC internal library. The first update is the Arcade Card APIs.
There are still a few functions I need to write, but the more
important ones are up and running. Check out the HuC section for
the download.

 Also, for those of you who are getting errors with PCEAS, I've
provided a new build that should eliminate the General Pagefault
error. You can find that in the HuC section.

 Dave and I decided to release the public beta to BubbleGum Crash.
I just want to give a huge thanks to Enguerrand. I'm gonna try to
clean up the script alignment before I release in the next few
days.
